God Bless Our Troops America!!

THE LORD IS MY STRONG TOWER:  GOD BLESS AMERICA, LAND THAT I LOVE!

This is a very critical

time  in our nation;  Our

most fervent  prayers

are extended to  our young

member, Brother Mark

Calloway, who is scheduled to go to

Afghanistan to fight for our country;  We take this

time out to pray for all of the service men and women

of the armed forces who are facing this  life-threatening

task of protecting our safety;   We are praying for

their safe return,  and we plead the blood  of Jesus

that these, our loved ones, shall return

unharmed  safely in our Savior's Arms!  If you

would like to send  encouraging words to our

service men and women, especially during the

holidays, the Pentagon is encouraging well wishers

to send correspondence through a website

accessible to all military personnel.

May God Bless you as you fight the war on terrorism!

With no disrespect to Lady Liberty, we as Americans

and Christians,  must not cease to fight terrorism, the

war on poverty, drug trafficking,  organized crime, religious

extremism, and unjust politicalism.  We must forever lift

up the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord!

God Bless America!

Liberty is the air that we Americans breathe:

"Proclaim Liberty  throughout

all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof"  Leviticus 25:10.........

Let there be peace on Earth, and let it begin with me!

Elder Richardson and the Emanuel Church Of God In Christ Family are aware of the devastation and anguish resulting from the 911 terrorist attack on America!  We offer our most fervent prayers for the victims and their colleagues, their families and their friends.

We are cognizant of the fact that God is yet in control during the aftermath  of this painful and tragic ordeal;  Even in the midst of this bitter harvest we can yet celebrate God's goodness and mercy and accept God's peace, and establish greatfulless and thankfulness for all the personal relationships and things we once took for granted.  So, let us shake off the bitterness and despair, and the abiding fears, and regain renewed faith, renewed relationships, and blessed restoration with the Lord our God.

Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, for he will serve as our antidepressant when we begin to ponder over whether or not we should  place a gas mask into our atache case or our daily mail into the micro wave, or whether or not I should set up a contingency plan for future terrorist attacks?  We must remember to take refuge in our God Jehovah!  Remember it was David who said "Hear my voice O God, in my prayer:  preserve my life from fear of the enemy.  Hide me from the secret council of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity."  Psalm 64:1 & 2................. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee:  because he trusteth in thee.  Trust ye in the Lord forever:  for the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength; Isaiah 26:3,4...............

           God Bless America

Let Us Pray To Our God:

For when they shall say, peace and safety;

then sudden destruction cometh upon them,

as travail upon a woman with child; and they

shall not escape.  I Thessalonians 5:3.........

Below is a rendering of the air bombing of

the twin towers in New York on 911 - drawn

by David Flagg (Memphis, TN):  The drawing

is depicting Jesus Christ as descending to the

scene gathering those

who had met Jesus Christ

as their personal savior

before they met with their

tragic end at ground zero.
