The Greater Illinois Fellowship came together

in prayer and with united hearts worshiping

and glorifying God with great fervor.  The

Theme of the Holy Convocation was "Stand

Still And See The Salvation Of The Lord.  Exalt

God, Don't Move Until You See A Breakthrough."

The Late Bishop Owens brought forth a

dynamic message

with great urgency entitled "Offer

Praise & Worship, Exercise

Prayer & Faith, And Give Vent

To The Holy Ghost".

He expressed that God has made provisions

for our visions and decisions, and through

faith in the Holy Ghost, we are expecting

God to catapult these visions into existence.

This is a time for revival and renewal;

this is not the time for us to be afraid

or timid and insecure concerning God's

calling on our lives and our respective

ministries.  We pray that the Lord will

dispatch His angels to encamp around us

to preserve us as we shake up strongholds

of hindrances.  We pray that the

captain of the Lord of hosts will manifest

himself and serve as our covering as we

embark upon the task of crumbling our

walls of Jericho with a shout.

Through prayer, faith and the Holy Ghost,

we will elevate to higher ground as the

Lord orders our steps to possess God's

gift of increased territory.

He encouraged us to call on the name

of Jesus to transform us and allow us

to be armed, courageous and dangerous

with God's word and our commission.

Supervisor Jurilean Bailey

is a strong and

courageous vessel of

God;  in spite of the fact

that her husband, Dr.

Isaac T. Bailey (who

was the 1st Administrative

Assistant of The Greater Illinois Fellowship)

expired on Wednesday night July 30, 2003,

Supervisor Jurilean Bailey brought forth

a blessed word of faith;  She expressed

that we know how to pray and if we would

exercise our faith through prayer

and praise, satan will have

no opportunity to stop the move of  God.

She has a great anointing on her life

and is dedicated to accepting the challenge

to walk under God's anointed umbrella

and she is standing ready and submissive

to the will of God.  The Greater Illinois

Fellowship is expecting a breakthrough;

We're standing in the gap and removing

strongholds and entrapments of bondage

which satan has designed to sift the Saints.

Supervisor Bailey's message on prayer

and praise was awesome and inspiring;

She expounded that prayer and praise will

set us free and render us victorious;  She

proclaimed that it was God who gave her the

strength and the anointing to stand before us,

and that she knew that she was carrying out

the expressed desires of her deceased husband;

Bishop C. C. Owens and the Emanuel

C. O. G. I. C. Family and the entire membership

of the Greater Illinois Fellowship express our

deepest and heart felt sympathy to Supervisor

Jurilean in her hour of grief.

May God ever bless Sis. Bailey and her

loved ones;  We, the members of The Greater

Illinois Fellowship, are blessed and highly favored,

and have realized that no weapon formed

against God's people shall prosper.

Supervisor Bailey, may the move of the

Holy Ghost give you peace, strength and

deliverance in your hour of sorrow.
